Do you ever feel like you're in a bit of a "boy's club" or do you enjoy the fact that you're the only woman in the band?
"I've not a boys club feeling as such; but I know what you mean! I get on very well with men and love their company! However I do think more women should be in bands, they'd love it! And the boys in Pulp aren't macho or anything."
Obviously you like playing the keyboard/organ, but if you could choose another instrument to play - what would it be and why?
"Guitar! I love the guitar! Love it! Find it quite sexy actually! I love to watch the guitar being played really roughly! Not so keen on watching solos, probably prefer rhythm guitar."
What's the weirdest/funniest thing that's ever happened at a Pulp gig?
"At Glasgow festival, on my birthday, a girl kept getting on his shoulders, and she kept bareing her breasts! And each time she did that, he'd take her straight off [his shoulders], then she'd get up again, bare her breasts, + he'd get her down; it happened 3 or 4 times!"
What is your favourite unreleased Pulp song?
"The Cuckoo Song is a beautiful song that you may never hear cos Jarvis dislikes it.. We played it in Venice [once], 1999."
What do you do to relax if you're stressed out?
"I don't get stressed really any more; on the rare occasion I do , I good nip of Brandy or something similarly strong, works wonders!"
